A dog sitter who lives around the corner
A dog walker for when you’re at work, someone to look after your dog for a day, or a place for them to stay for a week. On Carinido you’ll find dog lovers from your own neighbourhood, with their rates, their experience and reviews from other dog owners.
What owners book a dog sitter for
- The daily dog walk on the days you’re in the office.
- Doggy day care, so your dog isn’t home alone.
- Dog boarding while you’re on holiday or away for a weekend.
- A puppy or older dog that needs to go out briefly during the day.
What does it cost?
Every dog sitter sets their own rates for dog walking, home visits, and day care or boarding per day. On top of the rate you pay a 10% service fee, or nothing with a pass.
- Dog walking: €12 to €18 an hour
- Home visit: €10 to €15 a visit
- Boarding: €20 to €30 a day
These are guide prices. Every sitter sets their own rate.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know my dog is in good hands?
Read the profile and the reviews, and go for a walk together first. The profile shows whether someone has a fenced garden, has pets of their own and can give medication. We check their identity and phone number ourselves.
How much does a dog walker cost?
Each dog walker sets their own rates, which you’ll find on their profile. On top of that you pay a 10% service fee, or nothing with a pass.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Up to 24 hours before the start, you get everything back. If you cancel later, half the rate goes to the dog sitter, who kept the time free for you. You always get the service fee back.
Can my dog stay overnight too?
Yes, with sitters who offer dog boarding, which is charged per day. In your request, say how long it’s for, what your dog eats and what they’re used to, and add your vet’s details.
