Searching, sending messages and creating a profile are free. You only pay when you book someone.
10% service fee per booking
On top of the sitter’s rate, with a minimum of €1. This pays for secure payment, identity checks and support.
Example: 3 hours of babysitting at €10 per hour costs €30, plus a €3 service fee. €33 in total.
You keep 100% of your rate
You decide what you charge. We don’t deduct anything from your payout. If someone cancels within 24 hours before the start, you get half your rate.
With a pass, the service fee is waived for that type of booking. There’s no commitment and you can cancel whenever you like.
Passes will be available soon.
Only after the sitter has accepted your request. The money goes to the sitter once you confirm afterwards that the booking took place, or automatically after 48 hours.
Up to 24 hours before the start, you get everything back. If you cancel later, half the rate goes to your sitter, who kept the time free for you. You always get the service fee back. If the sitter cancels, you get the full amount back.
A booking lasts at least half an hour and costs at least €5.
Only from the service fee and the passes. So we only earn anything when a booking goes ahead. We don’t show adverts and we don’t sell data.
What’s usual and which rules apply differs from country to country. Choose the country you live in.
You pay online by iDEAL or card. We hold the amount until after the appointment.
These are guide prices. Every sitter sets their own rate.
If your babysitter comes to your home on no more than three days a week, the Dutch ‘Regeling dienstverlening aan huis’ applies: you don’t have to withhold payroll tax or pay contributions. Childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) is only for registered childcare, not for a babysitter through Carinido.

You declare what you earn to the Dutch tax office (Belastingdienst) yourself, as income from other work. If you make it your job, you’re a business.
